Wireless Patch Monitoring

Wireless Patch Monitoring is a new and exciting way of recording the hearts every beat for up to 2 weeks. Rather than having electrodes stuck to the skin, a single recording unit and electrode is attached to the skin. These devices are generally better tolerated that long-term Holter Monitoring and the quality of the ECG recorded is also superior.  This diagnostic equipment in not available on the NHS but is recognised by some medical insurers.

An example of this technology is the BardyDx CAM.
